Mandatory Parade Guidelines & Requirements
To ensure a safe, vibrant, and community-centered event, all participating entries must meet the following criteria:

Commitment to the Community: Highlight, center, or celebrate Latino history, culture, art, or lived experiences, or represent community organizations actively serving and supporting the Latino community.

Theme Alignment: Present an entry that reflects this year’s theme, "Unidos por el Latido de Nuestra Comunidad," while promoting an inclusive, respectful, and family-friendly atmosphere.

Banners & Signage: Provide your own banner and banner carriers (maximum size: 4 ft. x 12 ft.; limit one banner per entry).

Motorized Vehicles: All motorized vehicles are subject to advance review and approval by the committee due to route capacity and timing constraints. Only a limited number of vehicles will be approved.

Mandatory Meeting: Group leaders must attend a virtual informational meeting on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
What to Expect After Applying

Application Review: The Latino Heritage Parade & Festival Committee and PRCS staff will review all submissions following the deadline.

Selection Notification: Group leaders will be notified of their selection status via email.

Logistics & Meeting Access: Approved entries will receive staging logistics, lineup numbers, and the link to the mandatory virtual meeting on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
